Theological Beliefs

i.               Jesus is the Son of God and God himself, fully God, fully man. He died and rose again. He is not a created being. He was conceived by Virgin birth in order fulfill scripture. He is sinless. He will return at a time no one knows. John 1:1, John 1:14, John 10:30, Luke 1:27, 2 Corth 5:21, Matthew 24:42.

ii.              The Holy Bible was written by man but inspired through God revelation. It is inherent (permanent), complete (no other books), and without error. It is our only standard and guide and not limited to: morality, marriage, family unit, finances, gifting, worship, discipleship, love, hate, eternity etc. 2 Tim 3:16-17, Isaiah 40:8, 1 Thess 2:13.

iii.             Trinity is God in 3 three parts but one. The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. We acknowledge the existence of the Trinity. Luke 3:22, John 14:26, 1 Peter 1:2, Matthew 28:19, Joh 1:14, 1 John 5:20, 1 Tim 2:5.

iv.             Salvation is a gift from God by grace. This is not something we can earn. Salvation comes in 4 parts. 1) Admitting we are in need for Savior. 2) Believing that Jesus is the Son of God, and he is the perfect payment for our debt. 3) Confessing our sins. 4) Demonstrating our faith by the way we live our lives. John 3:16, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:10, Titus 2:11-12, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 16:31.

v.              Baptism is out of obedience. It is an outward expression of inward change that shows our commitment to Christ. Baptism does not save us, it is not required for salvation, and baptism comes after salvation. We believe is full immersion. Acts 11:16, Luke 3:16, Acts 2:38.

vi.             Communion, The Lord’s Supper is a reminder of Jesus sacrifice. That his body was broken to fulfill scripture and his blood is the washing of our sin. Communion does not save you and should only be observation after salvation. Matthew 26:26-28, 1 Cor 11:23-27, Mark 14:22-25.

vii.           Sin is anything that goes against God and God’s word. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:15, 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 6:23, Leviticus 5:17, 1 John 3:4
