Ladies Movie Night!
Ladies, join us for a movie night here on campus on Thursday May 9th from 6-8 pm. We all know we enjoy a movie best when we’re wearing comfy clothes so the theme of the movie night is comfy PJs! There is no cost for the event just bring a dish to share with everyone during our potluck dinner!
Senior Night Party
High school seniors, you’ve almost made it to the finish lined we want to celebrate with you! So join us during our Wednesday night Senior Party on Wednesday, May 15th at 6 pm. There’ll be food, prayer, words of encouragement and scripture. Each senior can decorate a table to showcase their high school journey. For more information, talk to Pastor Louis.
Student Life Camp
High school students make sure to save the date for SLC 2024! SLC allows you to build strong relationships with your friends but most importantly connect with the Lord in a deeper way. Spring Retreat
Ladies, your invited to join us Saturday April 13th from 10 am - 1 pm for our ECC Spring Retreat. The theme for the retreat is entitled “Refresh”. Join us here on campus for a time of worship, a message, prayer and community. The cost is only $5/person and will include a light lunch. The registration link will open Sunday, March 24th.

Tribes 2024
Students! It’s the event everyone has been waiting for: Tribes 2024! This year’s theme is pirates of the carribean. Tribes is an annual outreach event where Memorial Baptist Church (our sister church) invite all students from 6th-12th grade in the community to join them for upbeat worship, crazy games, food challenges, mud pit games and more! All students will be put on a team competing to become the tribes champion. Tribes will take place the week of spring break from March 10-13th. Talk to Josh, the Youth Director, if you’d like more information.

Easter Kids Worship Rehearsal

Mentor Mentee Matchup
Ladies, you’re invited to join us for Mentor-mentee matchup! This event strives to do exactly what the name says: to match mentees and mentors together to grow spiritually. Now who are mentors and who are mentees? Well, we define mentees as women who want someone to guide them on how to deepen their relationship with Christ by opening up God’s word and living it out. And we define mentors as ladies who are just a bit further along spiritually and can lead a woman through God’s word and share godly wisdom. We ask that you sign up at the connection table on Sunday. Encounter 101
Encounter 101 is our membership class that will share our journey as a church, important biblical truths that we stand for, introduce our ministries, share ways to get connected, and more. Lunch will be provided. We ask that you sign up on Sunday at the connection desk so we get an accurate head count for food.

Winter Jacket Drive
Help us this winter season reach people in our community without warm clothing. We are asking for gently used or new jackets, and brand new socks and blankets of all sizes. Drop of your donations on Sunday or during one of our midweek ministries. Once we receive the donations, we will place the items on racks and allow people to come and grab what they need.
Youth Christmas Party
On Wednesday December 20th at 6 pm our youth group with be hosting their annual Christmas party at 6 pm. All students 6-12 grade are invited for free food, music, activities, and a time to celebrate the birthday of Jesus! Students be sure to invite your friends because you will not want to miss it!
Women's Christmas Party
Ladies join us Wednesday, December 14 for a women’s ministry Christmas party. We will be doing a white elephant gift exchange, play games and have a potluck. Its going to be fun so make sure to invite a friend!
Youth Parent Meeting
Youth parents, on Sunday December 3rd right after service Josh our youth director will be hosting a parent meeting. This will be a great time to hear from Josh about the upcoming events for the youth group.
Christmas Marshmallow Mission
One of our values here at Encounter is building community. So join us this Christmas season for our first annual Christmas Marshmallow Mission. The goal for this event is to be able to hand out hot chocolate kits and invite our neighbors to our candlelight service. In order to make this happen, we are asking that you donate as much hot chocolate, mini marshmallows and candy canes as possible. Then make plans to join us on Saturday December 16th as we distribute these hot cocoa kits and invitations to our candlelight service.

This Wednesday our men and student ministry’s will not be meeting. And on Thursday, thanksgiving day, our women’s ministry will not be meeting. We hope you enjoy your thanksgiving with your loved one!
Student Ministry Mod Pizza Fundraiser
Save the date! On November 19, ECC Youth will be hosting a fundraiser at MODs pizza. 20% of your total bill be go towards helping students raise money for camp and other youth events. Drop by MOD right after church or for dinner to support our student ministry!

Night of Worship
Save the date! Our first Night of Worship will be held here at Encounter City Church on Saturday, November 4th at 6 pm. We will be gathering with a few other local churches to lift up the name of Jesus. Join us as we worship our Saviour through singing His praises, worship dance, and a gospel presentation.
Meet our Neighbors
On Saturday, Oct 28th at 10 am, we will meet at the church to pray, pick up our packages, and then head out to the neighborhood to deliver bags and invitations for our Thanksgiving Banquet which will be held on November 18.
Dashing Back to School
School ain't cheap! Help us support our ECC families and community by donating school supplies! You can drop off your donations Sundays from 10 AM - 12 PM, Wednesdays from 6 - 8 PM, and Thursdays from 5 - 8 PM. Please make sure that you drop off your donations by August 6th.
Baby Bottle Boomerang
Hope pregnancy center is a nonprofit Christian ministry that meets the emotional, spiritual and practical needs of women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. We’d love for you to help us support the hope pregnancy center through the Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser. All you got to do is grab a baby bottle, fill it up with coins/cash, and bring it back by Father's Day!
